UKCP Accreditation ~ current
My name is Susan Hamilton and I have been seeing clients since 1987. I trained to full qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 1991 adding MA studies (Family, Adolescent and Child Psychotherapy)later as well as EMDR practitioner and EFT accreditation.
My approach is integrative which means that I draw on a wide range of skills depending on what the client needs. I practise according to the ethical guidelines laid down by the UKCP.
Because I work from home and take each client directly into my consulting room with generous space between each appointment, there is total privacy for each person I see which is valued by those who need discretion or who are in the public eye.
Fees (Spring 2010):
£60 per session (60 minutes)
I offer concessions for low-waged and students.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance otherwise the full fee is charged.
Telephone/email consultations £30 per hour. I prefer to have two personal meetings at the outset and a subsequent personal meeting about every four to six sessions unless this is impossible.
